With the current craze on domains, we noticed that looking for available regular-priced domain names is getting harder. There are quite a lot of people today buying and trading domains which reduce the supply, more people looking for domain names that raise the demand, and registrar companies capitalizing on the fact and labeling specific domain names as premium, charging extra fees for their acquisitions and/or a yearly fee.

This is why we decided to build Name Lantern! A tool that generates suggestions of available domains based on a keyword. Our API uses DNS records, WHOIS servers, cached data, and a collection of 3rd-party services to suggest available domain names.
